Western Railway has issued notification
for filling up the Group C and Group D vacancies against Scouts &
Guides Quota of western Railway for the year 2013-14. Interested
candidates can send their applications on or before 21-10-2013.

Age Limit: Candidates
age limit should be between 18 to 30 years for UR, 18 to 33 years for
OBC and 18 to 35 years for SC/ST for Post No.1 and 18 to 33 years for
UR, 18 to 36 years for OBC and 18 to 38 years for SC/ST for Post No.2.
Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess Matriculation or equivalent with 50% marks
for Post No.1 and should passed Class 10th or equivalent and must have
Scouting/Guiding qualification for Post No.2. Candidates should have
good record of participation in Scouts/Guides activities at Unit/
District level.
Examination Fee:
Candidates have to pay the examination fee of Rs.100/- in the form of
demand draft (DD) / Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of ‘Chief
Cashier, Western Railway, Churchgate payable at Mumbai for the post of
Group ‘C’ and for the post of Group ‘D’ Divisional Cashier, Western
Railway, payable at HQ town of the respective division. SC/ ST, Women,
Minorites, economically backward classes are exempted from the fee.
