• Age Limit: Candidates age should be Maximum 25 years for General, 28 years for OBC, and 30 years for SC/ ST as on 01-06-2014. Age relaxations are applicable as per the rules.

• Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Full time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg) through AICTE/UGC approved Indian Universities.

• Selection Process: Selection Process will be done on Gate Scores Merit in Mechanical, Chemical Discipline, Group Discussions, Personal Interviews and Based on Medical Fitness in Pre Employment Medical Examination.

• Eligible candidates should register through online for GATE-2014 examination through the website http://www.iitkgp.ac.in/gate2014/ or on the websites of IIT’s (Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) Indian Institute of Science (IISc),Bangalore from 02-09-2013 to 01-10-2013. After apply/ register online for GATE-2014 and receipt of GATE-2014 registration number, the candidates may apply to Bharat Petroleum web site www.bharatpetroleum.com from 20-12-2014.
